بيان السفارة الأمريكية في الخرطوم حول لقاء المكون العسكري بالحرية والتغيير المجلس المركزي

بدعم مقدر من سفارة المملكة العربية السعودية وبحضور وفد الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وممثلين من المكون العسكري وقوي الحرية والتغيير المجلس المركزي التقوا اليوم التاسع من يونيو بغرض تبادل الأفكار حول كيف حل الأزمة السياسية الراهنة وكذلك الوصول لعملية سياسية تؤدي الي الانتقال الديمقراطي.

اننا نرحب بالتزام الطرفين لوضع مصلحة بلادهما أولا والحوار مع اصحاب المصلحة الآخرين. 

هذا الاجتماع لايشكل باي حال من الأحوال بديل للآلية ولكن يتطابق مع دعم كل المجهودات لبناء الثقة بين الأطراف. 

اننا نشكر المشاركين لاراءهم الصريحة ومشاركتهم البناءة واستعدادهم لإنهاء الأزمة السياسية وبناء السلام والعدالة والديمقراطية في السودان. 

With the gracious support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi

Arabia and in the presence of the United States delegation, the

representatives from the military component and the

representatives of the Freedom and Change Central Committee met

June 9 to exchange views on how to solve the current political crisis,

as well as on a process that leads to a democratic transition. We

welcome their stated commitment to put the nation's interests first

and to engage other stakeholders. This meeting is not a substitute

for the UN-AU-IGAD mechanism and is consistent with the

mechanism's support for all efforts to build trust and confidence

among the parties. We thank all of the participants for their frank

and constructive participation and for their willingness to end the

current political crisis and to build a peaceful, just, and democratic

Sudan.
